Last week, we gave away The Westward Christmas Brides Collection as an e-book! (Technically this giveaway is still on and ends tonight around midnight. To enter for this book, follow the instructions in this post: Booklover's Christmas Giveaway Part 1.)
THIS WEEK we're giving away the Hope for the Holidays Historical Collection and the Hope for the Holidays Contemporary Collection, written by the fabulous ladies over at the Seekerville blog!
How the giveaway came to be: (In case you were wondering or anything.)
Courtney and I met through the American Christian Fiction Writers, writing contests, and the writerly & fantabulous Seekerville blog. (Correct me, Courtney, if I'm remembering wrong. I have a poor medium-term memory.)
- She writes contemporary, I write historical.
- She's blonde, I'm brunette.
- She publicly professes a dislike for sweet tea, beans, ham, & coleslaw. I eat EVERYTHING. (Okay, not everything. I don't eat gift wrap.) Um... Where was I going with this again?
Oh, yes. HOWEVER
- We're both Southern girls.
- We both like reading God-honoring Christian love stories, both historical and contemporary.
- We're both currently pre-published and building our newsletter lists.
- We both love Christmas. (I'm assuming you do, too, Courtney. Haha!)
- AND we both wanted to give y'all something this Christmas, just for being Awesome You!!!
Happy Christmas to all and to all a good book!
If you'd like to read a sample of my writing before signing up, you can do so here.
We'll be giving away the prizes separately SO THERE'LL BE MORE WINNERS!!! who will be announced the last three Saturdays of December.

DeleteI enjoy Boiled Custard as a special Christmas treat.
ReplyDeleteI shared on Twitter. @cps1950
ReplyDeleteI've never had boiled custard. Hmm...might have to try it.
DeleteThank you so much for sharing!
My favorite is my grandmother's Seven Layer Cookies. The secret recipe has been in the family for MANY many years.
ReplyDelete:)
Secret recipe, huh? ;) Well crud. Sounds yummy!
DeleteOoh, Connie! I have a cheater's recipe for boiled custard that has pudding mix and condensed milk in it, I think. I've always wanted to try it. Now I'll have to.
ReplyDeleteCourtney and Amy, I was thinking the same thing. Man, wish that recipe wasn't secret. Haha!
I really love my cut outs! They are my aunt's recipe and are so fluffy and yummy!

ReplyDeleteHi, Connie! I love sugar cookies! I've tried and tried to find a recipe that cuts good, but mine gets all soft and sticky. :s Haha! Best wishes in the contest!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the sugar cookie recipe I've had for many years--it's one I used to make with my mom when I was a teen. But I can't eat them 'cause I'm gluten-free. Yet my son, DIL and 3yo grandson (who live with us, along with 18mo granddaughter) made them this morning and I practically needed a drool bib... ;-)
ReplyDeleteShared your giveaway on Twitter: https://twitter.com/kellyblackwell/status/543642943509504000 :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you both!
